[QUOTE=sewmary;6366118]The written pattern was in her magazine Quilting Quickly. I think the second issue. But it is easy without a pattern. The ladies above gave the measurements. I made mine by cutting charms from Oriental fabric. So it is an OrientalWaterfall and really turned out nicely.

I've made two baby quilts using this pattern. The idea of using oriental fabrics sounds wonderful!

The directions are in the magazine but I wrote down the key steps and drew pictures to keep by my work station. It took multiple times watching the video (as the magazine didn't come out until some weeks later) but it helped me to add the strips to the correct side.

I do the same thing, tessagin! Great minds think alike.
I keep going back a little to make sure my "hearing and seeing" are working together. I draw what I see and write down the measurements. Then go back one more time to verify what I wrote. Works for me.

I made three of these in two days - (yes on a weekend - too bad for dishes and laundry haha) One was fall, one was spooky Halloween and one for Christmas. The Christmas on is on display at Witch's stitches, a LQS in Big Flats, NY and I have been asked to teach a tutorial on this! Sorry - no pictures - I am tech-y challenged with postings. It is very easy.....

Looks like grma33 is spot on. It is how you place the blocks that makes the design. It does look like a great quilt for a guy.

MSQC has a forum similar to this. On that forum is a board where you can ask the MSQC "girls" questions about quilting.
