I love it! I would not put sashing on; it interrupts the flow and interrupts the crazy. Google images of crazy quilt and you can compare although there are not that many with sashing. Looks great! Now you need a solid color to border the blocks to really make them shine. I would go with a dark green batik, but not too dark. You seem to have lots of greens in your blocks so I think green to frame them would be nice. Just read one of the comments in the thread. Is that hardwood floor under the blocks in the photos or fabric?

I thought you were using tan or gold sashing at first too. I like the looks of it. Black would be good too. I like the idea of a narrow sashing between the blocks. It adds just a bit of order to all the craziness of the blocks.
Whatever you decide it's going to look great when you're done.
