    Thank you! If you do check out this pattern, a heads up: it says 3/8 yard for binding, but that's not quite enough for the 6 2.5" strips it says to cut. Also, it says to cut up 12 charm squares for the strips but I used closer to 20 because there just weren't enough pieces.

    What a lovely gesture. She will treasure it for years. It is hard being separated from family in a crisis, but this friend came through for all of you. Hope your brother is healing quickly, and glad his injuries weren't more serious.
