Default Appreciation for your quilt gift

My eye doctor literally saved my eyesight last year when I scratched my cornea and a corneal ulcer developed on it (look it up...it's pretty gross). I gifted her with a lap quilt today and told her that it was to thank her for her saving my eyesight and she cried. I was so touched because some people I give a quilt to don't even seem to understand how much time, money, and effort goes into one and that's why I only give my quilts to people I know and care about. Only other quilters will know what I'm talking about.

That was a wonderful gift from you. So often our doctors don't really know how much we appreciate them. Your doctor will never forget you.

What a wonderful idea! It sounds like she really appreciated it. That's so nice.

What a wonderful post!! Your doctor gets to see the results of her work on your eyes. Oh that's nice! Thanks for sharing with us.
