Hmmm I have a Viking 960Q, a Janome 760, a Kenmore zigzag, and 1907 Singer 66-1. None have names. The Kenmore has been with me the longest, 20 years. I just thought of a name for the Viking... Viki. Now isn't that original... lol Then there's Jan, Kenny, and Old Thing. That should do it for the names. This is a fun thread. :-)

I've never named a sewing machine. Now, if you're talking cars, ours have always had a name!

My Bernina's name is Phil. He does not like to multi-task but if you let him do one job at a time he does it beautifully!. My pickup's name is Tom T. Ruck.

Mine probably thinks her name is 'Okay,' because that's how I tend to begin most of my comments to her.
"Okay, just try to get through this one last seam, before I have to change your bobbin."
    "Okay, just STOP THAT!"
    "Okay, that looks pretty good!"
    "Okay, I give up!"

She's definitely a 'she' because she's usually smooth and well-mannered.
