    I use a stiff interfacing which is sew-in. This I bought at MILL Ends store in Portland OR. It came in a 50 yard roll. I bought the whole roll on special sale one day. This one helps the bag stay upright for years. I'd be happy to send you a sample if you will PM me.

    I love so many things about this bag. just the sqs alone are adorable.
    the flowers are charming and love the handles. looks like something
    you'd see on a movie star.

    For stiffness without too much weight or bulk, try the bosall product called In R form or similar products. It sews, quilts, washes like a dream. I am not pushing any brand just the idea of product. I have used in many bags and just love it.
