We have one on each bed and then each person has a lapsized one. Other than that, I've given the rest away. So I've kept maybe 10 or so and give away close to 50.

I gave away about 30. That is the 1/3. 60 is 2/3. Sorry for the confusion.

i give away nearly all of them.
i make things that appeal to me.
most often they don't fit anywhere in my own house.

i have made only one for myself so far.
the others i've kept are staying here either because of bleeding fabric, a mystery stain, or because they have too many mistakes to inflict on any innocent person i care about. lol

I keep a lot. I have made baby quilts and on request from the grands but I mostly quilt for my own pleasure. No deadlines and no pressure. One day they will all be donated.

I have made maybe 200-300 I have maybe 25, about 6 for me, that I use alternately. The last couple of years I have donated at least 70 kid sized quilts. Most all of mine were given and some don't even like quilts, who knew? They didn't tell me.

My Daughter and Granddaughter will do something with them when I am gone.

Very interesting thread. We have completed something near 50 quilts, and we have six of them here. Two for our daughter, two twin size class quilts that are our personal "cuddle quilts," one king size quilt that we made for us but is now on our daughter's bed, and one queen size quilt that we made for a dear friend. When she passed away the quilt came back to us, so we use it on our bed. We have three more in the works that we intend to keep: Christmas bed quilts for our daughter and us, and a fairly intricate bed quilt for our daughter. Everything else has been given away, and we have lots of people that we want to give quilts to.

I haven't given any away except for my family members so far. I'd like to do some for donations though. But I probably won't give any to casual acquaintances. Whoever gets one has to mean a lot to me.

I haven’t kept one yet...too many family members and friends to gift. Not to count the recent baby boom and baby quilts to make. I think I’ll keep my (nearly finished) Gypsy Wife, a UFO since 2016...it just needs a border.

Since starting in 2016, I've made over 80 quilts and have kept about 12 of them, I think. I usually make a quilt with someone in mind but sometimes I make one with favorite fabric so I keep those, typically. However, I have about 10 quilts others have gifted or I inherited that add to my collection. Love seeing all of them all over the house or on beds. Feels homey and reminds me of people who have passed or whom I care for.
