Well, I lost my Labyrinth Walk pattern and still haven't located it. Thought once I had the quilt done it would turn up but no such luck.

Complete fabric for a quilt that was put in a plastic box with the pattern. Where or where could it have gone?

I lost a three yard wad of fabric. I know I'm not imagining it, because it is in a photo I took last July. It should be with my other larger yardage pieces on the bottom shelf in the sewing room, but I took everything off the shelf one at a time, and it isn't there. I can't imagine where it went! It must be in the house somewhere, or it disappeared in a time warp.

I know a quilt gremlin lives in my sewing room. Things just disappear even if I am just sitting in one spot and don't move. Maybe I'm not the only one with a gremlin. Sounds like we are all in the same boat. I'm sure it's not our age

Another quilter recently reminded me of the blue men from a Twilight TV Show. She said it was the Blue Men's job to make sure that everything is where you put it and if it is suddenly not there, then one of the Blue Men didn't do his job properly. If this is true, then I have a bunch of invisible slack-off, lazy-bodies living in my house!

My cell phone is somewhere in the sewing room. I realized I hadn't missed it for a few days and heard it chirping. Well, I called it and...straight to voice mail which meant it was dead.I guess I need to just get another since it was old anyway. Sad

I am so happy to be in your good company!

Update: I found the missing book this morning. It must have been out to a party and came back home. It was tucked right on the shelf all along. I missed it 3 times. This morning one-by-one each book came down and suddenly there it was!

I bought a kit in Hawaii a few years ago. I have the fabric from the kit but somehow the pattern got separated from it. Even after cleaning my sewing room, it's still missing.

You mean, besides my mind? Think: where would I have NEVER put this book? Then go look there. That's my trick.

Those gremlins have cousins that live in my house, too. My embroidery scissors have been missing for years now. These are the ones that are bent to be able to use on the embroidery machine, not cheap. I know that if I replace them, the old ones will appear.
