My first quilting ruler was an Add-a-quarter two inch which I loved. We have retired and are full-timing in the RV (36 ft). I had to pack everything away as we were moving sometime last summer. I put the ruler away where it would not get bent or damaged. And then when we arrived and I set up for quilting again I couldn't find it. All my quilting things are in the bedroom in one cupboard with a bit more fabric under the bed. The isn't a lot of space, you have to be fairly tidy and organized. I looked for at least 3 months, I knew it was in the RV and I didn't want to buy another as we all know that is when it will reappear. As we were driving down to Arizona in October, I tried to buy one at Joann's, they didn't have any. A month later a woman in Quartzsite that used to have a shop was selling off the last of her stock, the only one she had was the 1 1/2 inch, which in the end I decided to buy. Another month later I found the original. It was in the front of the drawer that holds all our office supplies. So now I have one of each which I am quite happy about.
