Well.....I give them a thorough checking over before buying them, a good ol' sniff too, if they need washing, bung them in with our laundry, when they are dry I then cut 'every scrap' I can from them, usually only have the seams, collars etc to chuck, then I spray them with a bit of nice smelling starch and fold them up nice...whallahh!!

    :-)

Izy, you are an inspiration!! You sound like so much fun. I think it would be a ball shopping with you, I bet I could learn a lot.

Great finds in beautiful colors. I like the "recycle" aspect.

I LOVE a bargain, but have to admit they don't have that lovely 'new' fabric smell...far from it most of the time...'Eau de odour' more like.. hence the nice smelling starch comes into play tee hee!

Izy this is what I do also and I'm like Bearsgray I have learned to not say anything to the stores about why I'm buying them and the fact I'm going to cut them up, for when they learn this they will usually up the price of the cloths if they find out your using it for a Graft , so there fore I have learned to not say why I'm buying them..lol .. You have some really pretty colors indeed. :D :D

Good for you, Izy! I would die without access to fabric shops.
