Well, I'm red faced this morning. Between the vet drama with NSW Gracie Allen who by the way looks to have an inclusive cyst that ruptured inside and worked it's way to the surface and not any kind of bad tumor. Once her antibiotics are done well see if it needs surgery or if it resolved itself and getting the house ready for a refinance appraisal on Thursday I completly forgot about opening my box from Tina Benson aka SlightlyOffQuilter who also happens to love a basset hound named Splash, yesterday. I remembered in the morning but once we ran out to drop Glenn's truck off at the garage I completely airheaded the whole thing. Now you know why I am called the blondeslave. I simply can't believe how much stuff she sent. I absolutely LOVE the embroidered basset hound Cristmas stockings for Gracie and Clyde. She also sent me a quilted stocking which is adorable and was stuffed with items. She sent me not one but 2 seam rippers and a moustache trimmer. She must have read my post where I lost my seam ripper for months. Searched the sewing room dozens of times. Finally one day I was sitting in my chair in front of my machine and happened to glance to the right and there it was sitting in plain sight on the corner of the table. It's a wonder...LOL. That one bit the dust soon after along with another one like it and I am constantly searching for the one I have now so it should help to have multiples. She also sent glue sticks, clear tape a little container for needles a Frixion pen, 2 beautiful variegated threads which are my favorite. I have 2 bundles of precut 2 1/2" squares, a flash drive which includes all of her patterns on a key chain. She also sent some colorful post its to mark the patterns in books I want to go back to. Goodnes-there was an adoable Christmas themed table runner which I love. I give everything I make away so far so I didn't have one. She sent beautiful bright fat quartes and extra fabric one with sewing items and the marvelous calorie free chocolates fabric. It doesn't stop there. She also sent a twister and patchwork pattern with the templates-I do love my quilting gadgets. A book called Strip Savvy with lots of patterns that actually look like I could manage them. Some glycerin for my hands-takes me back to when my college roomates mother used to make us body lotion with glycerin and rosewater. Whew! A tin with all sorts of items, a pin cushion ring, 2 rolls of dog themed ribbon, needles, buttons, a needle threader so I don't have to aim and hope a cute pair of scissors on a leash so presumably I won't lose them and last but not least 2 sweet thimbles. One even has a basset on it. Thank you so much Tina for a wonderful box of goodies. I will try to take a picture later after today's cleaning duties are done.

I just looked and don't see a post from my SS recipient. I'm not surprised since she didn't post on this thread since signing up. I'm going to out myself here as I forgot to to buy a card to send separately to identify me and obviously didn't send the card I didn't buy...sigh. Anyway, I hope she, unlike me, remembered to open the box and likes what I sent. So without further yammering Donna McGraw aka Wolf3349, I am your SS this year. If I don't hear anything from you I will PM you in a couple of days to identify myself.

Thank you secret Santa for a really cool package. Michelle from Georgia sent my package, lots of goodies from Georgia. A quilted state block in flag colors, (a miniature) Praline Pecans, apple jelly, fresh cotton picked from the fields. Fat quarters that were selected just for me. Beach fabric , and ladies in swimsuits. Tea, and a lot of tea, with a tea cup and saucer from the depression, wrapped in a vintage hankie.... so treasured. This depression tea cup and saucer is the Mandarin pattern, and from her mothers antique shop. I also received a puzzle, journal with stickers pencils, a quilting novel and a quilting pattern book from easy quilts from 2 1/2 strips Jelly Rolls. Thank you for the letter you sent, all about you and family.

Mine didn't post when when she received her box, I know I am new to this but was hoping to see a post. Maybe she will post that she opened it, even though I am sure it was lacking. I am truly amazed at all the giving and receiving and how fun it was to see it all and hear all about it. What a truly wonderful group of people. Merry Christmas.

I have no idea why some came out upside down. I've tried fixing them, but not working. As you can see, I had a helper. I tried to take pictures so that you can see everything and if you sent something you can see what you sent. See that little teacup pin cushion? Isn't it cute?

Good Morning All, First of all, I have to apologize to everyone and my SS person, because I don't have internet at home, so I had to wait until I got to work this morning to post about my Fabulous gift. PatchesnPosies aka Deb was my Secret Santa, she outdone herself on my gift. It was wonderful. She even sent a gift treat for my Parrot Petey and my little dog Ollie. They loved their treats too. My gift was fantastic, she sent me a Tea Pot, a tea cozy, some tea and treats, some fabric squares to create with, she is clever, she sent me summer and winter mug rugs and said I was to create the Spring and Fall ones, my favorite seasons too. She took a lot of time in researching my posts and sent me so many wonderful things for a beginning quilter. There were patterns in the box, there were 2 books which I absolutely love, one is to learn to quilt and one is called 505 quilt blocks, that one is my favorite. :-)
I know I am probably forgetting to list something, but there was so much in the box, hard for me to remember it all. SO A HUGE THANK YOU TO DEB< MY SECRET SANTA PERSON. I will think of you when I am learning my quilting and using your beautiful quilt squares to learn with. THANK YOU SO MUCH
