If you notice, I have changed my "signature" tag for my profile.

That means I finally have one block finished that will be mailed home on Tuesday.

Elisabrat...that special first block belongs to YOU! You can peek if you want to by clicking on the link below since it will be ever so long before it heads west....anticipation like ketsup dripping from the bottle.

Moonwork .. I peeked at her block and I love it!! Tell me ... is the pink fabric you used eyelet or does the print just make it look that way?

It's just a print that I had that seemed to match pretty darn close. Glad you like it.

Anastasia...no head hanging allowed! This could belong in the funky club if anyone looks real close...but you know what, it's unique and original, just like Me! Oh wait, I could be in the funky club too and that's okay with me

Travelinggramma, you my dear are the next lucky ruby. Clicking it's heels saying there's no place like home is your block. It too will be winging it's way on Tuesday. Hope you enjoy it and she fits in and plays nicely with your others. Dad thought it was cool.

Again, it's available for a sneak peak on the link....you'll have to scroll through the thread to see the blocks as I go along. I like a thread rather than an album as they seem to open faster for me.

Off to do another one...glad to have the day off.

Doghousemom was our 3rd lucky ruby today...she sent in the f8 with cream with branches & leaves on it.

She wanted different size blocks than just 12.5 so she got 2 that are 9.5 each. She was suppose to get a 9.5 and a 3.5 but you know, when you end up with a 3 and then add to it and then get a 6 you have no choice but to keep going, lol. Soooooo that's how she got 2 of the 9.5 blocks.

If you want to peak at her's you can by checking my thread link.

Travelinggramma, I'm glad you like you block too....now it's just a matter of waiting for Tuesday to mail it

Lucky you ... you'll bet getting two blocks from me because I don't like the one I just finished. I was aiming for "scrappy frog in a pond" using the little 2.5" frog swatch that you sent along ... what I got was ... Frog Soup.

Fortunately I still have plenty of the purple F8 that you sent.

Hahah Moonwork, I love that center piece for gramma. That's adorable. I wanna play with everyone's stash.. and help them lighten the load My "stash" is scraps that I kidnapped from my mom, some she inherited, some from her quilting church group sends home. Not everything is cotton, some of it is cut up pillowcases. And occasionally I actually buy something to throw in there myself. I have about 3 1/2 bins full. I figured swaps like these are good ways to use up those scraps heheh. My mom has been having fun watching what I make and now she wants to join the next one I made her help me pic out some of the next blocks I'll be making. She has tons of books and magazines for me to peruse through. I own like.. 2 books. haha. And one magazine issue. It's fun.

There will be no complaints about math from me
