Loupe I was thinking the same thing - I sent a message off early this morning to someone on another thread and said I would check for reply throughout the day - nothing. Oh well.

Trying to work up the gumption to write about me and the mister and our little house on sheldon street.

Maybe everyone is trying to get an early start for Thanksgiving and a few may be traveling tomorrow, so today is the wash and pack day, maybe?? I'll give a hint, here's 2 little pieces, from a dark winter night to a sparkling morning

Oh Jaba! I know what you're making, but I'm not telling! I thought about that idea as well, until I found out who I got and what their theme/colors were. Now I'm hoping it all turns out well, since I went to the store and my plan got turned all topsy turvy. There's parts that I can't decide whether to applique or sew into the square now. Oh, and there's 1 other fabric that I'd love to find a fat quarter or yardage I could get a little piece of, but since my boyfriend got up sick this morning, we may be quarantined for Thanksgiving. I did find it online, if I wanted to pay $3.50 + shipping on Etsy....uh, no thanks. I have a backup plan though if all else fails.

Loup, quiet? I think my internet was down again or I would drive you all nuts

my house: sits on 146 acres surrounded by the national forest. Ok the 146 acres have 420 camp sites and two homes. Mine is one of those two. Lucky me. camping year round would lose it at my age real quick. My DH and I have four cats, I own two he has one and the other was gifted to us by my son who wanted me to take her for a bit til he could have her back 2.5 yrs ago. uh huh. My kids are grown and gone, I am home disabled so when I am not napping or gone for treatment I am sewing and thinking about cleaning. I get the surface stuff done daily. I get the real stuff done seriously once a month and half sorta every few days. NOT what they will remember me for how sparkly clean my home was. Decor: huh? huh? I have western pictures, paintings and photographs on my walls. also art work I had framed as the kids were growing and I fell in love with. Bright monkeys, water color trees, bird/beavers and while grown the kids love to come back and see them on the walls. Obviously well thought out matching decor. I have a mans den master bedroom bullets, guitars, knives and framed ugh bugs and football players. yippee. I have a sewing room with paintings we made and doll quilts on the walls. And a dining room table with a sewing machine and all my do it now work on it! so a very tidy designer friendly home. goodwill designers.

did you get anything done today? I am caught up to this weeks clue in the mystery train. I will try to get a photo of my bunnies on here asap. my dq is finished. ... in my mind. now will I remember this? that is the mystery question.

Well I imagine that just about everyone is colder than Arizona right now! Hehe, good clue!

I am a retired government Employee who is having the time of her life! Been married to best friend for two years this December! He is so awesome, we have 3 cats two indoor and one fraidy cat who won't come in even when there is snow on the ground.

I have two grown kids, 7 grand kids two are born to us, 2 are adopted, and 3 are inherited, the 3 inherited are teenagers! Wow teenagers are fun, and complex!

I have a small business making fun recycled stuff, and Memory quilts. I always tell everyone I sew so I can see my grandkids! We live in the mountains in Southern California our house is a mountain cabin in natural wood and there is no decorating style except quilts every where... and in Hubby's office is a NFL shrine!

I love to run and have been know to spend quite a bit of time doing it! You can either find me running, quilting/crafting or painting with my Hubby! (or fixing someones computer who thinks I still know what is going on with computers)

    Life is good!

BTW... Who likes APPLES??? I am getting no answers here! maybe I will keep it and make another one! In Winter whites! Try keeping that clean!!!!
