Just had to share.......I'm not one of those going on your retreat but I know some of you now.
I finished my comissioned fiber art and took the check to the bank yesterday. Yes, I worked on it 82 hours and did get paid $20 an hour. YES, I really did. It is 9 feet tall.
There might be a photo of it in the Tigard times, Thursday, Sept 29.
The dedication will be Saturday, at 11:15 in the building in Metzger Park off Hall blvd.(a few blocks from Washington Square)After Saturday, I will try to put a picture on the QB

O.K.,here is the list of who is coming
ME!Faith,Cindy,Karen,Julie plus friend,Alice,Tammy,Penny(Scotlass),Lilrain,Angela. That is 11 if I counted correctly and Judy from Spokane contacted me,if she makes it we will have a full house.I got your check today Penny.I will send the check to the rental lady on Monday.I am so ready to go.I will send the address out in a PM to each of you when I get it and let you know the check in details. So bring on the food planning!!!!!!!!!!!Julie they better be good munchies!I auditioned for a play Mon. and Tue. night and was cast in the part of a Society snot in the town of Fayro,Texas.By the end of the play I am passed out in a little red wagon pulled by the village idiot. It is a hoot and it is a Christmas play so I may be learning lines during the retreat.
