So here are my first two blocks ..... am posting more in the next few minutes, so look for 5+6, 13+14, 71+72, 81+82, 83+84. I have a few more done, but will wait to post when I have the pair made.

"Okay so glad" blocks one and two are done. I'm using Civil War fabrics for this. So far I now have 6 blocks done. Doubt it's a color way you'd think about doing, QuiltE....LOL We'll keep plugging away at it. Remember the inital quilt along was to do 2 a week.
Thanks for looking!

Oh I do like those, very much indeed!!!!!
This is going to make for a nice mix. I usually think of Civil War prints as blah, dull, dirty, lifeless .... though the pink and turquoise have my attention, giving it some life.. I like the femininity they bring to what I perceived as CW!
Would blend nicely with my Shabby Chic Quilt!!
Now please do show us the other four!! :)
(I'm about to post #3+4)

Thanks for the kind comments.
I have collected several FQ and snippets of CW prints and the variety is endless. You should see some of the greens! Far from lifeless! QuiltE here are my other 4.
