Linda Lovely......I just got the biggest chuckle out of your lost pin story today!! I wasn't laughing becasue it could have been a tragedy, but because I have done the very same thing & I have a dog & a cat. Now, whenever I use the iron I am always looking to see if there is a pin stuck to it. Thank you for sharing & we will be watching for a picture of your finished block.

[QUOTE=Vanogay;4931509]Just printed out my pattern and looked at the two already posted. Guess I've got to get into high gear and get goin'!! Both posted kittys are wonderful. Love the colors on both - the charms on Sulabugs, cute. AddieLou - for your disappearing 9-patch - simple - just make the 9-patch, trim it smooth, then cut it once vertically and once horizontally. Then turn each quarter piece, looking at the resulting block from those turns and checking out the one you like the most. Or turn just the opposite corner quarter pieces and check out that design as well. Have fun with it.[/QUOT

Quick question: for the D9P do you make each square 2 3/4 instead of 2 1/2 for 9 patch to allow for the extra seams?

Nice blocks, ladies. Of course, now I have changed my mind for the third time about how I'm going to do mine!

That's really cute. I am still working on the January block--my first attempt at paper piecing! I think I've got it figured out though.

Think I can somehow make the kitty square into a Siamese? That's what my cat is.
