Oh so cute. Here I go again, count me in. As with last time I'll start with one set and go from there, lol.

Alrighty ladies, today I'm gonna get started on this! I found my first block last night and I have all afternoon to work on it. I think it is a little topiary but I looked at so many I forget what I decided on! hehehe. I have to get the mulching done this morning then the rest of the day is mine!! I'll post a pic as soon as I am done with one.

Craft, a topiary sounds super cute! Can't wait to see it.

I have been working on some blocks. I just made a couple as I'm still in the "finding out what I want to do" phase. But here are the pictures. The snail is for the block swap and the ladybug is for the twist.

Ronda those are both stunning blocks! May I ask where you found the patterns? Very cute and great colors.

I'm copying a post from page one that tells all!

Welcome Anna! Of course Carol Doakes is one of the best known Paper Piecers...I own a book by Linda Causee called 100 Paper Pieced Quilt Blocks which includes a CD and the option to print out blocks from a 2" to an 8" size. There's a great section on garden blocks. I will likely use at least a couple of her designs. Maybe we can get a list going of possibilities, not to mention some of the free patterns on the internet. I'm working on a Carolina Lily right now and will post a picture when I get one block done. It's a bit time consuming.

Ronda, those are awesome! I am going to do a bumble bee and a dragon fly for the twist blocks.
