Hi Jan in FL...Has anyone but me been wanting to see a picture of your new quilting room? Can you share with us. We love peeking in to others sewing spaces. I signed up for the fabric moratorium, too so tomorrow it begins in earnest.

Don't make resolutions, so none to break. I am going to 'try' to get some of my UFO's finished.

Only resolution I had made was to get a bunch of UFO's done before New Year. Well, that got shot all to h***, as I've gotten one of the worst colds I have ever had, so will be curled up on the couch, and hoping the kleenex holds out until SO can get out to get me more. But Happy New Year to everyone!

I made the same resolution and broke it yesterday at Joann's .. They had 50% of their clearance fabric and they had a lot of patriotic fabric so I bought 12 yd. and bought thread, couple of rulers, basting spray, stencil spray, an embossing folder for my cricut , oh and bobbins which ended up being the wrong size. So 100$ later I left the store and encouraged my self that my resolution really doesn't start till Jan.1. Right! Lol

Wow Jan, 3/4's is pretty ambitious, you could try something like, 3/4 of the quilt needs to be stash fabric and 1/4 can be new fabric if needed. That would work much better for me. I too am working thru a stash, while I wait for the Keepsake Quilting 2 day local blowout sale in June. Of course part of the stash is fabric I bought a few years ago at the sale...

I have the 2013 resolution to work on nothing but UFOs - many, many waiting. However, between Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, 2012, I managed to spend almost $200 online, went through half a ream of computer paper and used up a new color printer cartridge printing patterns off the internet that I just have to make - but IT DOES NOT COUNT. It was still 2012. My conscience is clear.
