    A great idea for the ties. A friend of mine and I have been collecting ties for about a year now with the hope of getting enough for us to do our own tie quilt. This gives me a great idea. What a treasure they will all have.

    They're beautiful, turned out really good and I find that the wide border sort of makes the middle part pop up. I'm sure they will be happy with the quilts, who wouldn't.... Thanks for sharing

    Can't believe I let my DH donate all his ties to the clothes bank!! Do not remember how many he had but there was a bunch. Would have loved to have done something like this with his ties, love, love, love the quilts and the border!! Very interesting and beautiful!!
