    Hey, little quilts keeps the dogs and cats off the furniture and you just throw the quilt in the wash. Plus with the kitty ones, you can throw in a little cat nip into the layers before you quilt it.

    If you use realist dog fabric, people won't buy it unless it has their dog on it. So I'd suggest that you use a cartoonish pet fabric or one with tons of dogs on it. You could also put a decorator fabric on the back so it can be flipped over to a non-dog side if someone wanted to.
