I bought my Singer Quantum LE in 1990. It's been serviced a few times, but no repairs or replacements. And it's still going strong!

I bought my used Brother ULT2002D machine in 2005. The only problems I've had with it were caused by me, and that was in the embroidery arm as I was learning the embroidery process (self-taught as I didn't realize there were embroidery youtube videos available for me at that time, I was still a computer newbie also!).

I purchased my Bernina Artista 200 as soon as it came on the market. I think that was about 15 years ago. The machine still works great. Actually, it works much better now as there were lots of "bugs" in the machine when it came out and I had to keep taking it back for updates the first two years.

Viking #1plus has an embroidery unit which stopped working a couple years after the 5 year warranty expired. I choose not to have it repaired. However, it is great as a second machine. Bought a Viking Quilt Designer early 2000's (forgot the exact year) and I love it. The display screen has been blinking on and off. Seems the board is no longer available. When it goes completely black, that's it. I have two more other machines, so I can keep on piecing,

In my opinion, Viking, bernina and pfaff are made for the long haul.

I have had my Brother Innov'is 1000 sewing, embroidery, and quilting machine for 10 years with no problems. Wonderful machine. I also have a Brother 1500s and it is a work horse.
