Photo 4 looks like a lonesome prairie somewhere. Thats a lot of snow. But look at the fuzzy coats the horses have on, sweet.

I have to admit I needed my mini fix and Karla, the pics are wonderful.

Your babies sure look like they enjoy the snow. It just looks very cold and like a lot of work to me!

    Snow Days are Great!

I had to reshovel the path in the page 2 photos--but only a few inches.
These fuzzy eqine make my heart sing. There is nothing rational about it. :-D

We have a snow blower. But, 1. It'd have to go through the barn to get to the pastures and that'd be a challenge. 2. The snow was so wet and heavy, it might not have been helpful. 3. I love to get exercise. 4. It always impresses my husband. He said I could put some young men to shame.

    So--why would I want a snowblower?

And I was tired. Very. After shoveling, I had to make up stalls, haul water and clean pastures. I wish I had done all of that first!

Just how many feet of snow IS that? I love seeing the pictures of your babies ... and your captions are entertaining. I don't think you're done with snow from what I (think I) heard on the news earlier. :o(
