    What a wonderful quilt!, I love the idea of making story quilts. Good job!

    Those blackbirds are called Red Wing Blackbirds. They usually fly in flocks and love, and nest in, wet lands and marshes. They have a tinny sounding call. I love birds and thought you may want to know what kind they are...a great rendition by the way!
