Welcome NZQuilter, you have joined a great group with lots of fun and talented ladies!

Terriamn, hoping for the best results for your upcoming surgery. You will be super busy this time around with your upcoming trip to Mexico and the surgery to follow.

Jaba, a day doesn't go by that you are not on my mind. Hope each day gets even a little better.

That sounds like a lovely outing, Lstew! Whoever put a quilt store by a restaurant was smart thinking!

I washed my fabric last night and will iron and start cutting it today. We have ice and below zero wind chills warnings this weekend so I don't think we will be going anywhere. Suits me!

Terriamn and Jaba I have been thinking about my quilting friends and wishing I could make you better. Hang in there!

Is anyone going to ROAD TO CALIFORNIA the quilt show in Ontario, CA next week? I am going on Thursday January 24th. I would love to meet up with you if you are going. I met up with darcy at the Sisters quilt show. It was so much. She knows so much about quilting and I got so many quilting ideas. It was really fun. Would love to meet with one of my quilting board friends.

Marcialee, sounds almost like heaven to me. I’ll be doing Boom admin while it rains here almost all day. I’ll sneak in some of my BH Wild and Goosey blocks though. I put them down for way too long but worked on a dozen yesterday between other jobs and just started another dozen. My cutting space is a catastrophe, not to mention the floor with hundreds of minuscule scraps and threads.

MJP, would that I could! Enjoy the show and tell us if you see anything remarkable.

Janice, I had to look up the Wild and Goosey quilt blocks as I hadn't heard of them before. The finished quilts I saw are just beautiful! The individual blocks look small and so does the finished block with the four blocks sewn together. I enjoy paper piecing and think this is a project to definitely add to my "to do" list.

I love those blocks! I’ve got so many small scraps that work for them. 13 scraps per 3.5 inch corner block. I’ve got about 150 done but will need many more. I <3 the Booms but my soul is scrappy. I think I could keep making them forever. At this rate, I will be doing so forever.
