I use MS IE and use AVG Internet Security 2011 and haven't had any problems with is board or any other place I go online.

You may need to update whatever web browser you use and also check to see if there are updates for your virus scanner assuming you are running one on your computer.

Also never open or click on any "warnings" link. Do not click on X type pages or symbols. Instead go to your task manager and close it. If you don't you take the chance of a virus taking over your computer.

I also have Trend Micro and it is warning about and blocking this site. I saw something a few days ago where a member reported getting a virus from one of the "roll-over" ads on the site. That's probably what triggered the report that it's a dangerous site. I just stay away from all of the ads...don't even let my cursor roll over them!

I use Google Chrome and it has redirected me to this site via a new link from what was trying to open. It does that a lot in the last few weeks. I never get a warning just redirected to the actual board address.

I'm getting the same thing. Talked to my DH and he said to ignore it. I'm not sure if that is the right answer to ignore.

Anyone else experience this?

Also, I clicked on past message board sites-same thing happens, whereas it has never contained this warning.

I'm confused!
That has only happened to me on Facebook. I immediately close the browser and get completely out. The box doing the scanning is itself the virus and if you click ok then you get it. My computer guru person told me this. He said to just shut it down. Hasn't happened in a while now. I have lots of protection in place now. So much it's aggravating sometimes.
