I enjoy my sewing with the freedom of dropping one project to pick up another to work on. I get bored really easy so off I go to something else. Do I feel bad about this, absolutely not. My projects do all get finished.

I try to work on one project at a time but I currently have my next 4 projects already planned. My problem will be which project do I do next. There have been times however when what I am working on goes wrong and then I just get upset and quit that project for the time being.

I think a lot of quilters are like me, they have AADD. I get enthusiastic about something, work on it a while, get bored, start something else, get bored - go back to the first project, get bored, etc., etc.

I have some projects that I finish in a day or two because I'm so enthusiastic, but others languish when I get to a point that I can't decide how to proceed. I started a quilt for my husband, I have twelve blocks almost finished, have the backing, etc., but ran into a snag on the blocks where I didn't like the finishing and have had it put away for several years. I've now decided that the finish (raw edge applique) won't look as bad as I thought so I'm going to finish it sometime this summer.

If I only had one project going, when I got tired of working on it, then I would just quit and not do anything. This would be BAAAAAAAAD! So instead, I just pick up a different project, my enthusiasm returns, and I'm on my "happy" way again! I thought this was normal. Isn't it?????

I don't until it is binding time. Somehow I always manage to have binding projects for 2 or 3 of them!!!

I have so many going that I don't even want to get into the room for fear that I'll start another. I need to concentrate on finished what I've started!

I might have several in the collecting fabrics for stage but as a rule, I only have one in the active stage.

Hard to do one at a time, especially if you get involved with a BOM. Hate to get too many started for fear none will get done.
