    I agree with mucky and Sueisallaboutquilts
    Use sashing, but not such a dark fabric.
    A solid of one of the colours in the block would look lovely.

    The strips were already cut, I just had to put them together.

    Ok, I tried a different color sashing (little lighter)...not sure about this one either.

    Maybe I'll just put it together without the sashing...no time to get it done today, so it will have to wait until next weekend.

    I appreciate all the comments and opinions..feel free to let me know what you think of this color or is no sashing would be better.

    ...well my camera is acting up!...I'll post it later then I get back home..I'm heading out the door right now.
