I love this idea! I really enjoy receiving something that I know the person was thinking of me when they made it! And adding their state bird to their MugRugs, makes it all the more personal!!

I will include a mug and packet of cocoa mix. I make my own cocoa mix and add a baggie of mini marshmallows. I also dehydrate my own marshmallows. Do you think that will be OK?

I like the Advent calendar idea and I, too, am wondering about Click-it-bags.

I have done little zippered "owl" purses for the girls with matching book covers, game boards out of monopoly panels and pillowcases for the boys, stockings for everyone, mantle scarves or tree skirts for the ladies and socks for the men.

I am making back packs for the teen-agers, filling them with little things girls always need, including click-it bags.

I agree! I believe quilting AND vintage sewing machines are making a comeback and this wonderful Board and all its members are helping. It is great to see so many "newbies".
