Totally agree, I love your choices and the young girl will be so chuffed and I am sure it will make her feel special.

I wish I had had someone like you when I was young. I was overweight (just down right fat) when I was a kid, until I turned 16; oh the teasing I took. Then at 16 it all changed. Even my own family was mean when it came to my weight. I haven't had the problem since, but I want you to know that what you are doing is so wonderful! Thank you from the little fat girl still inside.

I like the colors and the layout and think that you are doing a terrific thing. I like the white "sashing" and think the stripes will look really good.

Texas has one of the best anti-bullying laws in the nation. You can check it out at: http://www.bullypolice.org/tx_law.html and then get the word to those parent(s) to hold the school officials' feet to the fire. Otherwise, legislate.

There's no reason for a kiddo to have to go through that kind of torture, but she will unless somebody takes that bull by the horns.

My grandson lost his mother in Feb. he has a hard time in school if he is repremanded about 'anything.' Lots of good attention helped him.

I also think your layout is perfect. Go for it and ditto on a nice thing to do for a girl being bullied.

Such a nice thing you are doing to make the quilt for this girl...your colors and layout are perfect...I hope that it gives her lots of comfort and makes her feel special.
Bullying has gotten way out of hand. Way too many kids are bullied about different things...it is hard enough growing up without being bullied too. Wish that kids could just accept others as they are...but doesn't seem that happens enough.
