Even the 'famous professionals' do it from time to time...

Yay! I'm so glad I'm not alone!

It's been this guilty little temptation teasing me all weekend! I don't think I even mentioned it to my sister-in-law, who I share a sewing room with. Maybe I'll give it a try on one of the smaller spots!
That's a great idea in my book! Only suggestion I have is you may want to "test drive" the marker on a scrap of fabric to see how the color of the fabric reacts to the marker.

Think about the time it takes to make a little sample, try out the markers, heat set them, wash and dry them.......you'd have all those less than perfect areas resewn before you did all that!!!! C9P
Spoken like my long gone perfectionist mother who I love and miss so dearly. I don't hate at you at all, I'm misty eyed. And I'd probably rip it out too.

I didn't know it wasn't supposed to show at all.........lol that is why i call it ssid........(somewhat stitch in the ditch) Never bothered me that some of the stitches show. I will never be able to completely stay in the ditch. The one i am doing now is black and white and i used black thread to sid but it does show on some of the white and i asked my gd if it mattered to her and she didn't know what i was talking about..........

Been there and done that...use the pen : ). this is a baby quilt not an heirloom project right? Don't beat yourself up. I have the most fantastic wall hanging of a pumpkin. The handle fabric did not thrill me after I finished so I took achival pens (acid free) and changed the fabric to suit the project better.
