Confession--I'm Being Tempted by a Bad Idea!
#112
I'm tempted by so many things on a daily basis. Chocolate is everywhere, for example. That text needs to be read before the next stoplight-well, maybe not. Can I stay on the computer rather than tackling that project?
I think you should just let it go. Call it an Amish "mistake on purpose". Call it character. Call it being human. The only reason you should mess with it is if it really bothers you after a few days. The quilt will be loved, used, spilled on, crumpled up, dragged around the house. I think a couple of white stitches on pink fabric fall in the category of "Don't sweat the small stuff"!

I've finished it, washed it and dried it, and then studied from arm's length away in poor lighting ;) - couldn't even find it, so I am leaving and letting it go like hudgoddess suggested! I did get a multi-colored pack of permanent markers just in case. This quilt has enough other "Oops" moments, so it obviously has blended right in!
My sis-in-law was in the sewing room working on her daughter's birthday quilt while I was working on machine stitching the binding. We kept taking turns muttering things like "What? Oooh..." and "Oops" and sometimes even "Aw, sh%#$^#@!" until she laughed and asked how many "oops's" are allowed in a quilt? ;)
All I have left to do for this one is pack it up then send it on its way. Yippee!

My almost 40 eyes can't find the stitch in ditch problem without searching hard in GOOD light!

Loosing my mind totally here, am very tempted to put my ragf quilt in the bin, or set fire to it....
