Do it, you will feel sooooooooo good. Actually, a friend who has an embroidery business does it all the time. The quilt police will never catch you.

Those small mishaps are only really obvious to you. Sometimes such thoughts lead to great inspiration

I have used my share of sharpies too. I once used a big red sharpie on a bedspread I bought that didn't have the right red on it. I spent about a week coloring that silly thing, but my room matched when I finished! It even survived the laundry!

I have a wall hanging that the back was cream and the top was black. Little dotts of the cream thread came to the top in some place. I used a black marker and know one knows. Also some friends of mine say they have trouble staying right in the ditch and the use the curvey stitch that is in there decoritive stiches. It would curve back and forth over the seam line. That way you don't have to be so perfect. I have a foot that hase a flange that rides in the ditch.

First rule of quilting: If you can't see it from a galloping horse, don't worry about it!

Second rule of quilting: If anyone dares to mention it, never ever make them a quilt!
