THere is a yard stick that is 1.25" wide, but seems very flimsy being that long and thin!
The ruler is cool because it counts down from the middle on both sides so you can center with it. My advice it to check out your LQS to see if they still have them in stock.

Does anyone know where I can find/order a 1-1/2" ruler? I'm new to quilting and need all the help I can get.
Being one that has cut herself very badly with a rotary cutter, it really scares me to think of you trying tohold a ruler that narrow. Mark your line on a larger ruler on the back side with blue painters tape.

one side & whole " on the other. 12" long is the most useful.
cut slowly & "walk" your fingers along the ruler after you make the first cut. actually, with a 12" ruler, you would not need to move your hand. Practice on some cheap muslin or ugly fabric until you get the hang of cutting WOF strips.

JoAnn's has a 2.5" called Buddy Binder. It is over 20" long, but thinner than Omnigrid. I use it for strips and to cut binding. Love it.
