What horrible times you've gone through! I think you are an angel to finish the quilt and pass it to the person who needs it the most right now. You will be blessed for doing such a loving thing.

What a sweet story. My condolences on your loss and my prayers are with your sister raising two young ones at age 60. Wowsers..

So sorry for your loss. It is a wonderful although difficult thing that you did. Your nephew will always have a lovely sentiment from his family in honour of a favourite uncle.

Beautiful quilt! I am sorry for your loss I also got tears in my eyes while reading your post. I am sure when your nephew snuggles with the quilt he will feel his uncles love!

You all have brought tears to my eyes and the support you have shown is remarkable. Quilting is a beautiful expression of love and that is what I tried to do with this quilt. I am so glad all of you understand.

Sending prayers your way - both for you in your loss and for Darien. Your gift of this beautiful quilt will give both of you comfort.

My husband had an Aunt that lived in their area of the country I asked the quilt be mailed to her, she was close to her niece. She received the quilt and loved it, but she passed away in January. At least she received and appreciated the quilt. We will miss both of them very much.
