Great idea for a rag quilt. I knew I was saving my jeans for something!

Awesome job! And for future rag quilt reference, I bought a pair of rag quilt scissors, they made a world of difference in all my clipping!

That does look fab. Hope your hand recovers soon, worth the pain though I would say.

It's great, but the idea of cutting all those edges makes my hand hurt just thinking about it!

I love your rag quilt and understand your claw hand. Try to rest it if you can. Your quilt really came out beautiful and must have been hard on your hands I've made a couple out of flannel and that cutting is tough after a while. Good job. Sue

Love it but now you need to make one for the couch. It just looks too plain next to the jean quilt on the chair......Beautiful quilt

Like your story and the quilt looks great............ I too have a bunch of jeans and was thinking of doing a rag quilt.
Hadn't thought about the jeans in awhile now because of your great quilt I may work on mine.

Yep, this is on my to do list for someday as well. Yours really turned out great. I love all the different colors scattered throughout your cover. And I like it as a chair cover too

Sister, I felt your pain!!! I made a jeans rag quilt for a dear friend of mine and the "claw" stayed around for at least a week. The quilt came out great, but, like yours, weighed a ton! I love how the random placement of yours came out so well. Thanks for sharing your funny story.
