Inquiring minds want to know - how did they sucker you into buying this kit?

You're right...one DOES need sunglasses! Although some of the pinks would work all right for a little girl's quilt...My almost-three-year-old granddaughter will be getting her own room soon when their new house is completed, and I asked her what color her room will be, and she said "Pink...or lellow." And I found a great idea for a scrap quilt in an old Quilt World (circa 1988) magazine...and I think her first choice of pink will be the color of choice for her quilt. Oh, yes, the grandsons will be getting quilts, as well. The pattern is very simple and can use any number of fabric, ribbon and rickrack scraps.

My poor husband thinks I laid an egg because I'm laughing so hard at some of the comments...but that's one of the reasons I love coming to this website. Not only does everyone give great advice, but the camaraderie is wonderful!

Weak moment -- saw and liked the kitty fabric but I didn't realize how large the kitties were. The other prints were kind of hidden in their picture. I trusted them to send me a nice kit with beautiful fabrics. Guess it's all in the eyes of the beholder.

But I won't be buying any more kits unless I can see ALL the fabric clearly :x (This was the first kit I've bought on line.)

Wow it is a bright quilt. i would suggest you look at the color wheel and quilt it with a quieter thread color. it will tone down the brightness. I am in the process of quilting a burgundy quilt with brown thread. makes a difference. Hot Grandma

My granddaughter would love it. Her walls are that green color. I need to wear sun glasses when I enter her room if her black curtains are open. LOL Oh to be a teenager again. (NOT)
