I have three lights...two OTT lights and another from Big Lots. I love them all, but for some folks budget the one I got at Big Lots is great!!!

I bought my OTT light Caddy at Wal-Mart on sale for $8.00 ....Yep!!!! $8.00... That's by far the best buy I ever got at Wal-Mart.

I bought a different brand several years ago at Big Lots and I can't see a difference between it and my friends Ott lamp, yes we did look at them together. I think the thing you really want to look for is Full or daylight spectrum bulb.

Ott lights are daylight spectrum lights. I had one that lasted a long time. I determined that the ballast was bad, and Ott would not sell me a replacement part. They claimed they sell parts only to qualified electrical repair shops, which would most likely cost far more than the lamp. I eventually bought another one, since I really like the daylight lamp.

I have spoken with Home Depot and they have the OTT brand light. Tall one costs $54 and desk top costs $35.... They do not have them in our local store so you have to order them online...but WHAT A SAVINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Grrrrr..........Joann's Ott Lite. Joann's had an Ott Lite, reg. $99 on sale for 19.99 today. By 10 am west coast time this morning I went to order it and read, "No available". Somebody else said that Joann's has a history of sales items and then you go to order and it is out of stock. No more Joann's for me....Hobby Lobby or Michael's or Hancocks if that is the way Joann's treats customers.

No! I bought one on sale at Joann Fabrics. It was poorly made. The switch was hard to turn, and the light is no better than other lamps IMHO. Joann's would not take it back, because I had purchased on sale. My husband replaced the switch for me, but I would never buy another Ott Light.

Yes. I have three floor lamps and one table lamp. They really help my eyes, especially when I try to work at night.

Ottlites are wonderful things! I can't sew without them. They are much better than the knock offs.
