It looks like your Mother has insured that you won't run without anything to do the rest of your life. They are all beautiful and what treasures you are finishing for your family. May God bless you as you do this work. I love some of those old patterns. Your Mother had good taste.

Your mother would be so proud of you and the effort you're making to complete her projects. It truly is a wonderful thing to give those designated items to your sisters. I hope you save something for yourself. Your mother was very talented and you certainly are too. Good luck with such a large project.

So very sorry for your family's loss. I agree with everyone that you are special to do this for your family. I am sure that your Mom is smiling down on you and thinking, " I knew she would do it". She and your Grandmother were wonderful quilters and you sure have their talent. Please don't forget to do something for yourself. God bless. BrendaK

What a treasure!! You must be in quilter's heaven. It's so nice of you to finish them up for her, and very far sighted of her to make notes as to who is to get them.

You are truly a blessed person. I'm sure your Mom and Grandma are smiling down on you every time you sew on one of those beautiful quilts.

Your mom made beautiful quilts and it is nice that she had the for- sight to keep notes with her work. Your family sounds very connected and loved.

What a wonderful act of love. You will feel your mother as you complete her projects. I'm doing something similar with my sweet MotherInLaw's stash. When I'm finished I'll have made at least 40 quilts for her grandchildren, children, and daughter-in-laws. It's an amazing, sometimes daunting task and I wouldn't give it up for the world. HUGS for the loss of your mom. HUGS for your labors of love. <3

You must be one of the most caring persons I've stumbled across on the internet so far. I actually had to wipe a tear or two after reading this... YOU ARE WONDERFUL!

Sad that all that talent is no longer here but marvelous that you will finish so many memories of your precious mother. So sorry for your loss. What beautiful quilts.
