    Thanks, everyone. I finished the quilting today and I have decided that I am going to gift it to the parents. They are a younger couple and I think they will like it.
    Thank you for all your kind words.
    By the way...this quilt was super easy and fast to do...I wanted to try out the tube strip piecing method that I found on YouTube that uses 2 2 1/2" strips sewn together and 1 4 1/2" strip. You sew them into a tube and then and cut them on a diagonal. It's really easy and fast. If you adjust the colours right it looks like Tumbling Blocks.

    I love it and think baby will too. My DH only likes traditional blocks in traditional colors. I just don't pay attention unless it is for him.

    Kids like funky and bright colors. I think it's a good choice for a baby.
