Really neat quilt - looks like fractured tiles. I like it!

Oh gosh somebody stop me. Now I have this urge to take all my fabric and cut them into long strips and turn them into scrappy quilts. I think I found a pattern addiction or in my case not really a pattern just a personality addiction.

your color choices integrate well. i really like the bottom picture.& WOW there's a lot of different layouts you could do....if it were me, i would put all those colors in the center helter skelter and put the beige around the outside & then i'd stand back. this would make a great "boston scrappy"...so much for honesty

I think this quilter has it going in the right direction. It makes it HERS. I would like to take it to a different level. If and when I do I will send it in. BarbM

I played with it some more. Here is what I did. I tried the diagonal and because of how the rows on each block are different it didn't line up well at all, so a no on diagonal. I tried to made blocks of 4 but it still didn't work line up well at all. The bargello doesn't work either. Due to that fact that each block has rows running in in different directions makes it hard do make it look good other than the original pic's.
Thank you for all your honest opinions. I may keep playing with it and see what else I get. But I do think it is gonna stay the original layout.

Can you elaborate on what you mean to a different level? I know it is missing something but i can't figure out what it is. I'm not trying to steal your idea, I'm just curious.
