I've used it like that for years now, and it does work! Another thing it works well for is CURING arthritic knuckles and toes. And yes I did say CURE...not RELIEVE.
Just put it on with a bandade on top of the knuckles that are bothering you and the swelling and tenderness will leave within a couple of days of doing this and never return

No, it's definitively not a joke!!! I'm glad I found this, put it on last night and it was the first night for a while I slept through without having to cough my heart out.
Thanks.

Vicks vapour rub is a wonder medicine. Stops the sting immediately on Mozzie bites. Or any other insect sting.

Works great on the feet! I have used it many times for my myself, my husband, grandkids and even recomended to a good friend that is an MD. She tried it on her son, after nothing else seemed to work. She told me that it did the trick and he was able to sleep without coughing all night.

I'll keep this in mind, I never knew that!

Totally off topic, but I use Vicks vapor rub on things I want puppies not to chew, I rub it on electrical cords, furniture legs, the edge of our stairs, etc. The smell alone makes them say away
