So sorry to hear about your Babylock. I am always amazed at how much they charge for repairs. Hopefully it is something real simple to fix and he can do it while you wait. Good Luck.

sorry for you luck but i would call them and ask them to either send someone out to you to pick it up give you the price of gas money to make a return trip to have it fixed the correct way, this must make you so mad, and i would let them know it , tell them if they cant fix it you want your money back to take it to someone that can !!!

Do be firm and tell them it has to be fixed in a week and you will pick it up and try it out there!!! Also no extra charge as it is worse then when you brought it in. You do have to be firm as some people think they can intimidate as they are the fixers and the client doesn't know anything. I found out if you stick up for yourself they usually take care of things. If not report them to the better business bureau and word of mouth hurts them worse - dissatisfied customers are their worst enemy.

Yes take it back but be sure and call them just in case the weather keeps you from getting it there right away.Let them know it was not fixed . Next time have them try it out before you bring it home.

So far BBB hasn't helped me much with a problem I'm having with a Janome but they do have some time left as I had until 1-2 to reply to there reply which I stated was unacceptable.

Always bring fabric and thread to sew on the machine before leaving the shop. Better to let the repairman or staff sew with it or have them right there watching you sew. It's not uncommon for the shop to say it was working great when it left the shop. Never be in a rush to take the machine and leave, better to wait until you have time to test it out.
