I make "Quilted Christmas (or other) Ornaments", there are some good eye catching fabrics that I use in almost every ball. It's Fairy Frost, I believe it is a Micheal Miller line. THey are beautiful and complimentary of other patterns

I buy fabric because I need it or love the look of it. The make is not so important to me, although I do like good quality fabric.

I never buy for the name, I only buy because I love what I see. That goes for everything...clothes, fabric, cars, etc.

I first feel the fabric, I love a soft fabric, then it is color. If I want to make a specific quilt from a pattern design then I purchase that fabric for that pattern.

If it is pretty and feels good I like it and sometimes I can buy it.

Me too.
Me three. But, if I see a certain pattern or color I might buy it.

I buy fabric that appeals to me. I do buy quality fabric and have found over the years that there are some brands I seen to buy more than others because I like their designs.

I buy what I am drawn to color and print wise, but if it doesn't have a good feel or hand I pass it up. I figure if it feels good to me while I am making it, it will feel wonderful to the person who gets it...

I buy what I like. The only thing I try to avoid is some of the loosely woven lower grade fabric that tends to be very inexpensive (but not always)...I have had problems in the past with it wearing differently and fraying more than some of the better quality stuff. I like some designers and once in a while get a bug up my butt to buy from a current collection, but I shop quilt shops and chain stores alike and pretty much buy whatever tickles my fancy at the moment.
