I have been enjoying Hobby Lobby since the 70's as it had its main store just 2 or 3 miles from me. It is a great store and I particularly enjoy the coupons you can print off the web, today, for instance I purchased 10 yards of fusible with a 40% off coupon. When you like to do the fusible applique that really saves you a ton of money. They seem to have that one about twice a month, in addition to coupons for specific departments.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Hobby Lobby! I love that it is Christan based, they have wonderful fabric (in my opinion), they have a large selection of many hobbies, they have the coupons you can print from their website, they play wonderful Christian music, they are located near where I work (gets me in trouble for sure!), etc.

It's just a happy place for me to be!

I really enjoy Hobby Lobby, too - it's so diversified.
Also, I believe that is their right to close and if another store of religious beliefs wants to close on another day, then that would be their freedom to do so. That's what the USA is all about, isn't it.

A lot of people begin making Christmas gifts and doing their Christmas shopping in the summertime so they have plenty of time to get everything done early. That way they can enjoy the holidays and spread the cost over several months. I know I have seen some posts on here of people starting Christmas gifts. Our local Hobby Lobby and Michaels often have lots of Christmas crafts out by this time.

they don't need to accomodate them, the company doesn't work from them the people work for the company and know that when they are hired and should respect that and be thankful for the day they get. People should learn to pray together and not against each other.

My question is, does one have to be a Christian to work there? Jews' Sabbath day is Saturday. Some Muslims need to be off on Fridays. What do they do to accomodate them?[/quote]

We have two Hobby Lobby stores in my city. I do like their fabric, they carry Kona cotton and it is usually 30% off which makes for a great savings. Great place for remnants.

My only complaint about HobbyLobby is that I always spend too much money when I go in there. Go for one thing, come out with a bunch. Every time

I have bought fabrics there and I too like the quality of their fabrics. No complaints.
