I have trouble receiving calls from certain numbers......although not the solicitators! LOL!!! I have to call them back, and the connection goes thru just fine. It seems to happen only on MY cell phone, not my DHs.

Just occasional trouble but Verizon is the best I ever had. A friend uses straight talk from Walmart and wouldn't use anything else.

My hubby is having trouble not getting calls for the last two weeks. They don't go through or come through. I think Verizon was having trouble. This week everything is fine.

*228 option 2(roaming)
I've did that even purched a new battery, just wait it out I guess.
I typed in *228. Then I clicked on 'options' and on option 2 which was ' add 2- second pause'. Nothing happened. So I started again, and clicked 'send' after entering *228 and 'restricted number' appeared on the screen. I clicked send again, then 'options' and options 2 ('add 2-second pause'). Nothing happened.

What am I doing wrong?

Several people in my area have complained about the same thing, mine is working fine but my home phone is horrible with them.

I hear you. Have had Verizon for a number of years. Most of my calls are to & from my sweetheart who has been working in Africa. Many Many dropped calls etc. We are both sick of this. That takes your minutes.

Someone else on our local community chat room started a new thread last night on this same issue.

We have had some problems with signal and text messages not coming thru but thought it had something to do with the tornado in joplin. Mayne not though
