My suggestion is do what you have to do to protect your property - just don't talk about it!!! It's called the NO TELL POLICY! No one can charge you with indecent acts to get rid of wild animals if they do not know about it.

No solution here. We gave up on corn when the pesky little thieves stripped every ear off our patch, peeled them when they were only 3 inch ears and left them. They didn't even eat them!

Two lines of electric fence works great. one very close to the ground and the other a little higher. Put up before the coon find the corn or they will wipe out a patch overnight.

besides an elec. fence close to the ground, we put a portable radio in the middle of the patch, and turn it up loud. and it works in Illinois, big patch, planted with the tractor

Radio didn't work for us. Neither did a dirty shirt hanging on the fence, nor human hair spread on the ground, nor did mustard oil. We've tried them all. The fence works best.

A neighbor and I used to plant at different times so we could share our coon dog. No racoons ever dared walk by ol' Blue!!

Was told by a good old country girl that you take cans fill them with moth balls punch a few holes ( old cottage cheese or yogurt containers would work with a lid) cover the end them set them amont the vegetables here and there-she said she never had trouble with the critters of any kind
