Years ago you might have been considered a chump, but not now. How many of us, or our kids are just a few paychecks away from being broke?
Shelters are full to capicity, and if they do get in, they have to be back on the streets by dawn. Go get a job? not much chance of that.
If in doubt, go buy some food, and give it to them. I don't think we should be passing judgement, especially in these hard times.
