Ya, I see it, but don't knock yourself out about it. This is a block, in my opinion, that really needs a visual. I can even tell you how many log cabin quilts I have made and ALWAYS get out my Quilt in a Day book when I get to the sewing part for a visual, otherwise I'd do the same thing you did.

I bet eveyone who has ever done a log cabin did this on at least one block. It is easy to do. It took me awhile and several ripping sessions to work the order out in my mind. But look at the bright side, you are only doing a table runner.
