The only quilting supplies I've ever bought at Lowes is a strip of wood to use as a ruler to draw my crosshatchng lines. BUT I have bought cake decorating supplies there. Tiny paint rollers for smoothing icing, wire cable for decorations, and a miter box and saw for sizing pillars and dowel rods....

I saw a use for this cloth that I want to make into a new family tradition. It was in Lowe's newsletter to use permanent makers and draw, write all over it for a table coth (put something under it in case it bleeds through)Everyone in my family from young to old will enjoy this.

Oh, I remember I got one of those a few years ago. I wonder where I put it? My group is tellling me I need to square my quilt before I give it to the LA to quilt-I kind of went on the assumption you can cut off what you don't like when you're done. But as I've learned it has something to do with how easily it can be loaded....so time to work on squaring my tops.

Great idea. I have a new ironing board that needs a good cover. BTW, Harbor Freight has two sizes of 10 oz canvas drop cloths, both on sale now. The 9' x 12' is $14.99 and the 4' x 12' is $7.99. That is a lot of canvas for the price.

That is a great idea, Hannajo. I will send my DH to pick one up for me next week. He always wants an excuse to go to Lowe's. And gives me more time to get the rest of my Christmas quilting finished.

My daughter and I used them as furniture covers . After they are washed they soften up and it protects from the animals. Really energetic people dye or paint them. I will be going to get some for ironing board covers since I can't get the duck cloth cheap like I use to. Thanks
