    Gorgeous colors, but they may be a bit sophisticated for a new baby. The pastels are more traditional, but rules are made to be broken. Go with your gut. Such a beautiful quilt will be used until it gives up!

    I am not good at opinions. Now with that said, you did a great job on the quilt, but when I think of a baby quilt, I think of something not so dark, more pastel or even brights with a plain design, but like I said, your quilt is beautiful. It will be loved by her especially since you made it for her.

    For a small child, good choice. Bright colors - they love them. A bit darker than some like, won't show the dirty spots as quick. All round - you did good. She will love it. You made it. Love your display of the quilt.

    I really like the color choices. They look more comtemporary and many young mothers like the vibrant colors.
